The two main objectives of this book are, in the first place, to leteveryone know the roots of organic architecture, so much used by Gaudí in his works, and secondly, to encourage readers to go back in timeand make an effort to read this great book that nature is, as he told, searching for the existing geometry in animal, mineral and vegetalkingdoms or, in other words, to urge the viewers to look at naturethrough Gaudí’s eyes.In November 1957 Jordi Cussó Anglès entered themodel workshop in Sagrada Familia Temple as an apprentice, and tenyears later he was made its director. He took part, among other works, in the gathering, study and restoration of the original Gaudí’smodels destroyed during the first days of Spanish Civil War, in July1936. Nowadays he lives in Sant Iscle de Vallalta, near Barcelona. Inhis garden and sorrounded by forests in the Maresme region, the author started his first experiences as an amateur naturalist, searching for the organic forms so masterly reproduced by Gaudí.
